This site started out for a few reasons. The main one reason was as an online diary to help me remember some of the fixes and tweaks I had to come up with for some of the undocumented and lesser known CMS systems that used to exist.Since that time, this site has grown from a few blogs posts with a handful of visitors each month, into something much bigger. My original intention for this site was to provide free, straight to the point information so the people doing the same job as me, with a little less experience an easier journey than my own.
That goal still exists, however, with that said the world of technology moving so quickly, there is too much to write about for a single person... that's where you come in.
Asides from goodwill and karma, a blog post displayed on Jon D Jones has the opportunity to get wide exposure to your peers and help spread knowledge within the development community... basically to become a legend!
If you are unsure what to write about, then I will accept articles on the following topics:UmbracoSitecoreEpiserverCareer HackingReactJob Interviews
The rules to get an article published on this site are simple. I accept high-quality, original content to share with my audience. If you can produce that then I will happily add your article, with your name and a link to your website. You can include affiliate links in your article, however, the article has to give value to my readers. If it does not do that, it won't be published
Quality and actionable advice to help the community should be your main focus, if you can't live up to that we may decline submissions that are either not a good fit for the site or in need of some improvement.
Due to lots of time wasters, I have had to become more strict on submissions. So the rules are:DO NOT EMAIL ME UNLESS YOU HAVE AN IDEA FOR AN ARTICLEIf you do not have a very specific idea/you have already written it, then I will not respond.
To submit an article please send over your post idea and I’ll be in touch to see about getting you published on the site! If you have any questions, you can use the contact form below.
